Campus Overview
Blow Pierce Junior Academy is a thriving middle school serving students in grades six through eight. Committed to extending learning opportunities and developing high achievers, Blow Pierce builds on students’ individual strengths and provides the academic and character education necessary for a successful transition from middle to high school.
In 2005-06, Blow Pierce established a National Junior Honor Society chapter and introduced Friendship’s Pre-Early College curriculum that exposes middle school students to accelerated English, Geometry and Algebra courses.
Blow Pierce is home to an award-winning robotics team and is one of two campus bureaus for the Friendship News Network (FNN), a year-around after school and summer journalism program where students create their own magazine, radio and television shows.
The Blow Pierce Junior Academy campus is located in Ward 7 at 725 19th Street, Northeast. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with enrichment activities before and after school and on weekends.
